Stephen Remick
Painter
Stephen Remick was born and raised in Vermont. He received an Associate Degree in Architecture from Vermont Technical College, and a BFA in Painting at Swain School of Design in New Bedford, MA, where he met his wife, Anne Carrozza. They raised two children in Dartmouth, MA, while Steve owned a painting and paperhanging company. Now, with kids on their own and a paired down painting business, Steve spends more time on art, mostly painting landscapes and a few abstracts. In 2020 he took a full-stop, painting portraits of healthcare workers in shock from working with COVID-19 patients. Currently, landscapes are making a return with a concentration on plein air painting when weather permits. Steve’s paintings are in private collections throughout the US and abroad.
